Instruction includes:

1. Overview of the fashion industry and how it relates to starting your own company.

2. In-depth explanations of fashion entrepreneurship and the steps one needs to take in order to establish the company.

3. Tips on best practices, recommended systems and online tools to use to manage company operations.

4. Review of key timelines and deliverables to ensure effective progress.

5. Building sales projections and performance targets to establish profitability of business activities.

6. Orientation to funding your venture through grants, crowdfunding and pitch competitions.

7. Recommendations on working with contractors and specialized support when starting out.

Learning outcomes: Students will gain an understanding of fashion entrepreneurship and what it takes to move from idea into a fully established company.

Materials: Students are provided an Intro to Fashion Entrepreneurship manual to use as a guide during and after the training.
